"This little light of mine"
Let us remember that we are to be a shining example of what it means to have faith in Jesus Christ. We must strive every day to make sure our words and actions reflect His character. That your church, regardless of size or stature, can still be a lighthouse on the hill for your context.
Are you Living in the tyranny of the Urgent?
We only have 24 hours in a day, but what if we had 30? It would give us more time to complete the tasks we never seem to have enough time for. All of us have things left undone at the end of each day--letters that go unanswered, friends we wish we had more time for, and books collecting dust on our shelves. Wouldn't it be nice to feel like we could accomplish something?
Small Churches Big Mission
God has a big mission for all churches regardless of the size of the congregation. The world needs a church that is willing to go out into the field and work in the harvest. Is your church part of that working congregation that is spreading the Good News into world around you?
An Airplane, a Eunuch, and the Loving Soul Strategist
You may never know right where God may have you strike up a conversation that could alter someones eternity.
Following Jesus' Plan for His Church
God often uses difficult situations to accomplish His purposes. He uses persecution to spread the gospel (Acts 8:1-4). He uses trials to mature Christians (James 1:2-4). And He uses difficult people to teach us patience and love (1 Corinthians 13:4-7). When we don't understand why things are happening, we can trust that God is still in control and knows what He is doing. We may not have chosen His methods, but we can trust that He knows what He is doing.
Don’t let Your Small Church Miss the Opportunity
For far too long, the small rural Church has placed itself in a posture of protection and defense from the culture around it. The Church is called, regardless of size, to “Go” and engage neighborhoods with the gospel in a new and vibrant way. Psalms 1:3 states, “He (Church) shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he (Church) does shall prosper.”
God Gives the Dream
We may never experience something as dramatic or life-changing as Paul did, but each of us has been given a dream by God. It may not be as visible or exciting as Paul’s, but it’s just as real. The question is: will we be obedient to it?
How to measure a Kingdom-centric church – part 2
A Kingdom-centric church always has Jesus at the center of everything. It is a church that is focused on His Kingdom first and foremost. This type of church will always be reminiscent of a heroic, rescue mission for every loved and lost lamb. It is a church that is full of compassion and love because that is what Jesus modeled for us. He came to seek and save the lost, and that is what we must do as well. A Kingdom-centric church is focused on making disciples, not just converts. We want to see people transformed by the power of God and living their best life possible. This is only possible when Jesus is at the center. When we are Kingdom-centric in our thinking and living, everything else will fall into place. It is only then that we can truly be the church that God has called us to be. And that is A church that is in the right relationship with Him and living in the right relationship with others.

Making the RIght Choices Even in a Crisis
Have you ever noticed certain leaders that have the uncanny sense of making the right decisions even in the toughest of situations? It seems that dispite the severity or seriousness of any crisis that may arise they always seem to know the solution. Problems never paralyze truely great leaders. They know that to any problem or situation there is always a solution that exist.
Placing the right importance on numbers
These days, it seems like every church is obsessed with numbers. How many people came to our service? How much money did we raise? What was our attendance last year compared to this year? Do you remember, one could walk into almost any church and find a large wooden plaque mounted on the wall giving all those numbers?
Dying churches settle for “Good Enough”
Let's think about words that are frequently used to describe the word "good enough." Adequate * Passable * Sufficient * Tolerable * Settle. [To settle for, to accept or agree to something, or to decide to have something, although it is not exactly what you want, or it is not the best:] Keep in mind that we're not just talking about attaining objectives here; we're also discussing about your life. If you accept a "good enough" acceptable standard, you will repeat yourself again and again until you become comfortable and content with only good enough.
The Breaking before the Blessing

The Snares of Success
Momentum and success in ministry is a beautiful thing but it can be a trap that we can get imprisoned by also.
