"This little light of mine"

Let us remember that we are to be a shining example of what it means to have faith in Jesus Christ. We must strive every day to make sure our words and actions reflect His character. That your church, regardless of size or stature, can still be a lighthouse on the hill for your context.

Are you Living in the tyranny of the Urgent?

We only have 24 hours in a day, but what if we had 30? It would give us more time to complete the tasks we never seem to have enough time for. Following Jesus' Plan for His Church

God often uses difficult situations to accomplish His purposes. He uses persecution to spread the gospel (Acts 8:1-4). He uses trials to mature Christians (James 1:2-4). And He uses difficult people to teach us patience and love (1 Corinthians 13:4-7). When we don't understand why things are happening, we can trust that God is still in control and knows what He is doing. We may not have chosen His methods, but we can trust that He knows what He is doing.

How to measure a Kingdom-centric church – part 2

A Kingdom-centric church always has Jesus at the center of everything. It is a church that is focused on His Kingdom first and foremost. This type of church will always be reminiscent of a heroic, rescue mission for every loved and lost lamb. It is a church that is full of compassion and love because that is what Jesus modeled for us. He came to seek and save the lost, and that is what we must do as well. A Kingdom-centric church is focused on making disciples, not just converts. We want to see people transformed by the power of God and living their best life possible. This is only possible when Jesus is at the center. And that is A church that is in the right relationship with Him and living in the right relationship with others.

Dying churches settle for “Good Enough”

Let's think about words that are frequently used to describe the word "good enough." Adequate * Passable * Sufficient * Tolerable * Settle. [To settle for, to accept or agree to something, or to decide to have something, although it is not exactly what you want, or it is not the best:] Keep in mind that we're not just talking about attaining objectives here; we're also discussing about your life. If you accept a "good enough" acceptable standard, you will repeat yourself again and again until you become comfortable and content with only good enough.
